UWA Introduces Full Fee Paying Places

Finally sense prevails. We have Australians out there prepared to pay money to achieve an education. Why should we prevent them if they are putting in enough money into the system to cover the costs of increased places? If anything the University as a whole will provide a better service to the many HECS place students - which CONTINUE to exist. Blah blah thin end of the wedge blah blah (other Australian campuses have been offering these places for years).

Expect much more non-sensical equity howling, from elected student representatives (after all that's what they are elected to do) and from the Dimocrats. Unfortunately most of their arguments disintegrate upon contact with facts.
